Yes! A truly biodegradable piece of art work! Willow is one of those great materials that can be moulded and shaped to create so many things. It offers great textures and colour and has that natural form that goes so well into our gardens and homes. Its renewable, grown in only a few specialist farms down on the Somerset Levels.  This makes any willow piece special and unique. Willow can also be cut, stuck in the ground and most often grows from just that-a veratile material! Living sculptures can hence be created from this and are great for school clubs and gardeners to experiment with living wigwams, pergolas, arches and yurts! Even chairs!

More can be found out from Willow and Wetlands Centre Stoke St Gregory,Somerset where there is an excellent museum of willow wetland history..
